Erinn Schultz at Genesys : April, 11 – June 13, 2015
The Grand Blanc Arts Council is featuring abstract paintings by Erinn Schultz at Genesys Health Park April 11 - June 13, 2015. The exhibit can be viewed on the second floor, between the elevators.
Erinn received a BFA in Fine Arts from the College of Creative Studies and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Wayne State University. For 7 years she worked as an elementary art instructor for Utica Community schools. She currently homeschools her four children and teaches art at their homeschool co-op.
She has exhibited throughout Michigan in Detroit, Farmington Hills, Ferndale, Owosso, Pontiac, Rochester and Romeo.
Erinn explains that her paintings are meant to take the viewer “beyond what is seen into the experiential. Spaces of color, form and light reflect feelings of wonder, mystery and freedom. At times, light is blurred or obscured by cloud-like forms. Yet amidst the struggle and tension, there is a quality of light that evokes hope and peace in the midst of life’s storms.”
