Artist statement by Lois Ann Fulton:
Art has always been a part of Lois Ann's life. She has only been quilting for about 12 years, but has always loved creating her own patterns and designs. Her recent work has been inspired by the five years she lived in Italy.
Lois Ann's work has been exhibited locally and internationally. She's had two solo exhibits in Italy. Two of her pieces have traveled in an Aussome Study Group exhibit to Australia and France. Lois Ann and the Aussome artists created a six panel quilt called, "Color Study: Underwater Fantasy" which was juried into the 2008 IQA Houston festival.
She has exhibited her work at many venues such as: the Oakland County Quilt Guild show, Flint Arts Council, Grand Blanc Arts Council Summer Exhibit, Common Threads Quilt Show and the Genesee Star Quilt Show. Several of her pieces have appeared in the Fiberarts
